I try to include nationwide sellers. You should get a good overview of what's available from this list. For your information there is a difference between Poly Sheds (polyethylene resin) and Vinyl Plastic Sheds and that being that Vinyl is actually PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) plastic:   The same material used to make PVC plastic water pipe. Actually, most of these plastic sheds make use of a certain amount of steel as in the use of bolts & nuts and/or structural supports to strengthen the framework. I guess a person could live in one of these plastic sheds, but i don't think it would be safe to install a wood burning stove even if you installed the stove jack safely. Perhaps a free-standing portable electric heater might work if electricity is available. Usually these plastic sheds come with a plastic floor also. Unlike metal sheds these sheds can be set-up directly on the ground as they are unaffected by the moisture in the ground. Another cool feature about these plastic sheds is that they usually come with windows built in or you can buy a "window kit" for installation at home.

  10. BUILDING OUR LIFETIME SHED   This video may not be perfect, but it will give the buyer of a plastic Lifetime shed a very good idea as to how to assemble this building from the very bottom up. I like the wood platform they built to set the shed on, better than concrete in my opinion. Even though this video uses a 8ft x 5ft shed as a model to work with, i am sure the same techniques and information apply to most any size Lifetime Plastic shed. Actually, this video will help give confidence to anyone (a first timer) wishing to buy and assemble a Lifetime Plastic shed themselves, without any outside expert help.

  15. Arrow Shed from Walmart WALMART   Shocker! Walmart sells storage sheds! They sell both Suncast & Lifetime Brands of plastic sheds. You can order online and have it at least delivered to your nearest store, or maybe delivered to your home. By the looks of their website, especially the storage building section - sheds have grown in popularity over the years.

    Go to:   Outdoor Living > Lawn & Garden > Sheds & Storage. Sold online only - not in stores! Sheds are shipped "Site to Store" or "Ship to Home". They sell a full line of Arrow Sheds plus also they sell "Suncast" and "Lifetime" brand poly sheds. Walmart sells online the Arrow Shed Foundation Kit which can be assembled in minutes and used with either the 10'x 8' or 10'x 9' Arrow Shed. I am glad Walmart sells these sheds even though i will probably never buy one.

  16. Suncast Shed SUNCAST   They are based in the state of Illinois 1-800-846-2345. If you visit their website and click on "outdoor storage" you will find they have a fair amount of different models and sizes to choose from. I think they produce for the big box stores mostly, i doubt you can buy direct from them. They also sell resin storage systems like shelves and cabinets to equip your storage shed. Another thing good is that you can order replacement parts for your shed from them. Just click on "Parts". You can order parts direct from them off the website. Pretty neat.

  22. Lowe's Poly Shed LOWE'S   They also sell Resin or Poly sheds. Specifically they carry: Duraworx Apex Resin Storage Buildings. And they carry Lifetime poly sheds. Click on "outdoor storage". And, they have a line of vinyl sheds. I think maybe Vinyl is actually not the same as poly - it is actually polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin like in PVC water pipe, or simply "vinyl".

  24. Suncast 10x10 Poly Shed SEARS   Actually in my opinion Sears has a good selection of small storage buildings including the following brands:

    • They sell the metal Arrow sheds line.
    • They are also selling the Lifetime sheds which are made with steel A-frame trusses and polyethylene plastic.
    • They sell Suncast resin construction storage buildings.

    Sears has a good selection of buildings clear up to 11ft x 13-1/2ft almost big enough for a small cabin - well for me anyway.
